vision
Movement by McIntosh Productions is dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices and redefining storytelling in film, television, and digital media. Through compelling narratives, bold artistic choices, and inclusive casting, we create work that challenges, inspires, and resonates with audiences worldwide.
Our goal is to build a creative ecosystem where artists of color, women, and marginalized voices have the resources, opportunities, and platforms to bring their stories to life—both in front of and behind the camera.
We believe in storytelling that is raw, nuanced, and deeply human, and we are committed to producing content that not only entertains but also sparks conversation and drives meaningful change.

Title: Buyer Buyer Gentrifier
Status: In Development | Seeking Funding
Logline: A Brooklyn couple, desperate for a good night's sleep, takes drastic (and hilariously questionable) action to deal with their overly amorous new neighbors—by breaking them up for good.
Synopsis: In a rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn, Maya and Monti—two proud, culture-rooted New Yorkers—struggle to hold onto their community as outsiders move in. But when their new neighbors’ very active love life keeps them up at all hours, they take matters into their own hands. With the help of their best friends, they hatch a wildly petty plan to break the couple up and reclaim their peace. What starts as a simple scheme turns into a sharp, comedic reflection on identity, belonging, and what it really means to fight for space as people of color in a city that no longer feels like home.
Why This Story? Buyer Buyer Gentrifier explores the realities of gentrification, cultural erasure, and economic displacement through humor and satire—centering Black and Brown communities in a fight to preserve the spaces they’ve long called home.
Title: Untitled 1/2 hour Comedy Pilot
Status: In Development | Writing
Logline: A freshly minted MFA graduate’s dreams of dance stardom take a detour when an injury lands them at a gritty community center—teaching dance to kids who have zero interest in pliés.
Synopsis: Armed with an elite dance degree and big ambitions, [Protagonist] is ready to take the NYC arts scene by storm—until a career-halting injury forces them to rethink everything. Stuck teaching at a no-frills community center in a tough neighborhood, they struggle to connect with students who challenge them at every turn. But between the chaos, culture shocks, and unexpected life lessons, they might just find purpose (and a whole lot of comedy) in the place they least expected.
Why This Story? This series explores resilience, artistic reinvention, and the power of community—all through a comedic lens that highlights the joy, struggles, and hilarity of being an artist in an ever-changing city.
